Camp Activities
Animal Education
Campers spend time with chickens, bunnies, piglets, cows and calves, sheep and goats through hands-on learning about their diet, biology, and how to care for them.
Nature Activities
Set on 160 acres of farmland, Mary’s Land Farm is the optimal location for any kind of nature activity. Campers will have hands-on experiences in a garden, explore the creek life, and take in the beauty of nature all day long. No matter the day of the week, your camper will be enjoying the outdoors and all it has to offer.
Recreation
Each day, campers will engage in physical activities whether that is soccer, capture the flag, tag, GaGa ball, Megaslide, and more. While we are not a sport focused camp, we do believe it is important for children to run freely throughout the day.
Arts & Crafts
Throughout the week, campers will utilize their artistic skills to create natural art projects that reflect what they have been learning and experiencing on the farm.
History
Learn about how farms worked in the 1800’s by exploring the farm’s original ice house and spring house.
Sewing 4 Fun! Elective
As our camp grows and develops, we are proud to finally offer an optional elective that campers may add on to their farm camp experience!
Our sewing elective will provide an introduction to sewing for campers aged 7-12 years old.
Sewing is a valuable skill for everyone and our classes are designed to teach boys and girls aged 7-12 the fundamentals. Held Monday through Thursday during the camp day, students will join a small group of 10 other peers to dive into the basics of sewing, gain confidence with a sewing machine, and create a project to take home at the end of the week. Join us as we explore the art and practicality of sewing together!
