Farm Leadership Program

A Next-Step Camp Experience for Ages 13–15 to Lead, Learn, and Grow

The Farm Leadership Program is a hands-on experience for teens ages 13–15 ready to take on greater responsibility. Campers build leadership skills through interactive lessons, real farm work, and mentoring, while assisting younger campers and exploring different areas of the farm. The program fosters confidence, initiative, and personal growth in a supportive, real-world setting.

What to Expect Each Day

Designed for campers who have outgrown our traditional farm camp, our Farm Leadership Program empowers teens ages 13–15 to develop real-world leadership skills while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience across the farm. Each day blends interactive lessons with practical application, focusing on essential skills like communication, teamwork, problem-solving, responsibility, and integrity.

Participants are encouraged to take initiative by exploring areas of interest throughout the farm and learning specialized tasks within those departments. As junior leaders, they will also support younger camp groups as aides—helping lead activities, practicing public speaking, and building confidence while working toward counselor-in-training goals under the guidance of experienced counselors.

Throughout the week, campers will spend time alongside farm managers and staff to gain insight into how a diversified, values-driven farm operates. Experiences may include working with our livestock manager to learn about 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef and pasture-raised hens, exploring our hydroponic tropical greenhouse, understanding the day-to-day operations of our farm store, or learning about food sourcing and nutrition with a certified nutritional therapist.
